Description
English: Marʉaweka--Today's lesson: asking someone "Are you ready (yet)?”

Here we have the late Dr. Reaves Nahwooks asking the question, "Are you ready?" two times. This is from a video of conversational phrases the Comanche Language and Cultural Preservation Committee produced. We thank them for all of their hard work over the years to get us on this road. ʉnʉ̠ha pʉesʉ̠? (Are you ready yet?) ʉnʉ- (you-subject version) -ha (question particle) pʉesʉ̠ (ready/already-adverb) This can be interpreted as Are you ready yet? or Are you ready? This is how you would ask one person only. There are different ways to ask it of two people exactly or a group of 3 or more people. Listen carefully to the speakers and then... Listen, repeat, and practice! #LRP

And remember the only way to do language wrong is to not do it at all!
