Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Review of the EIG E-16 pistol. This is a 4-shot derringer modeled after (or copied from) the Mossberg Brownie. EIG Cuttlery, a company founded by Saul Eig, would later become Firearms International (FIE) and continue to import inexpensive firearms.

This particular pistol was made in 1966. I know that I was not wearing eye protection. Given that I was shooting a pistol with gas cutting issues, I realize this was not the best way to go about things. Please don't waste your time chastizing me.

I fired 36 rounds of which only 29 fired with the first hammer strike. The remaining 7 fired with the second strike. There were some sticky extractions and the final 4 were stuck solid in the chambers. I knocked them out when I got back to the house. The side of the pistol advises to use standard velocity ammunition and I was using high velocity ammo, so I do not fault the gun for the sticky extraction... that much.

The gas cutting on my hand was just a bit uncomfortable and unnerving, but didn't hurt.

This is my first posted 'review videos' and I'll try to do more of these. I'd like feedback on different things I can do.
