De film "Demokratisch avontuur in Togo : traditionele leiders bekneld tussen staat volk" vormt een geintegreerd onderdeel van een onderzoek naar de relatie tussen staatsbestuur en neotraditionele vormen van lokaal gezag in Togo, dat de auteur in 1987 begon. Het doel van de film is de traditionele leider in zijn connecties tot het (centrale) bestuur een stuk dichterbij te brengen. Centraal in de film staat de volstrekte afhankelijkheid van de volkshoofden van het Eyadéma-regime. De opnamen werden gemaakt in maart 1990 en september-oktober 1991. Other version: Gedigitaliseerde versie van videoversie van gelijknamige film.

The film "Democratic adventure in Togo : traditional leaders caught between state people" is an integrated part of an investigation into the relationship between state government and neotraditional forms of local authority in Togo, which the author started in 1987. The aim of the film is to bring the traditional leader a little closer in his connections to the (central) government. Central to the film is the complete dependence of the chieftains on the Eyadéma regime. The recordings were made in March 1990 and September-October 1991. Other version: Digitized version of video version of film of the same name.

Le film « L'aventure démocratique au Togo : les chefs traditionnels pris entre les hommes d'État » fait partie intégrante d'une enquête sur les rapports entre l'État et les formes néotraditionnelles de pouvoir local au Togo, que l'auteur a entamée en 1987. Le but du film est de rapprocher un peu plus le chef traditionnel dans ses relations avec le gouvernement (central). Au centre du film se trouve la dépendance totale des chefs vis-à-vis du régime d'Eyadéma. Les enregistrements ont été réalisés en mars 1990 et septembre-octobre 1991. Autre version : Version numérisée de la version vidéo du film du même nom.
