Page from a Dutch prayerbook with engraved illustrations. The handwritten text was produced in the late 15th c. in a Maastricht monastery. The engravings are in the prints collection of the British Museum. The manuscript is in the British Library.

Description
Nederlands: Pagina van een geïllustreerd Middelnederlands getijdenboek, waarvan de handgeschreven tekst eind 15e eeuw is ontstaan in het Bogaardenklooster in Maastricht, mogelijk van de hand van Jan van Emmerik. Daar was het gebedenboek wellicht ook in gebruik. De gravures zijn elders ontstaan en aan het handschrift toegevoegd. Het Bogaardenklooster werd in 1795 opgeheven en de inboedel verkocht. In de 19e eeuw werden de circa 50 pagina's met gravures uit het boek verwijderd, waarschijnlijk om apart verkocht te worden. Deze pagina's bevinden zich sinds 1861 in de prentencollectie van het British Museum, inv.nr. 1861-1109-632 t/m 693. De rest van het handgeschreven boek bevindt zich als manuscript BL Add MS 24332 in de British Library. Pas in 2017 ontdekte de Amerikaanse handschriftdeskundige Kathryn M. Rudy dat de twee bij elkaar horen. Hier afgebeeld is Sint-Cecilia met een boek en een orgel. De banderol bevat geen tekst.
