Description
Deutsch: Bad Kohlgrub: als Naturdenkmal (Nr. ND-00527) geschützte Dorflinde, eine Winterlinde (Tilia cordata). An der Südseite (in Richtung Pfarrhaus und Pfarrstadel) ist in der Art eines Bildstocks eine Figur der Maria Immaculata angebracht und mit einer Blumenampel geschmückt.
Der Baum steht in der Mitte des Dorfs zwischen Gasthaus und Pfarrhaus, unmittelbar an der Hauptstraße, die zugleich Staatsstraße St 2062 und deshalb stark befahren ist. Die Baumkrone wurde stark ausgeschnitten: Kein einziger Ast hat mehr seine originale Länge. Die meisten Äste laufen nur noch in ein Ende aus, statt sich zu mehreren Enden zu verzweigen. Dennoch zeigt die Linde (z. B. auf Foto 466) noch immer, was ein „richtiger“ Baum ist, gerade im Direktvergleich mit dem „Straßenbegrünungs-Bäumchen“ daneben.
