Description
Português: O pesquisador norte-americano Benjamin Cowan, da George Mason University (EUA), apresentou pesquisa sobre documentos de autoridades com referências a políticas de perseguição a homossexuais e censura a programas de TV ou comportamentos considerados lascivos.

A Comissão Nacional da Verdade e a Comissão da Verdade de São Paulo "Rubens Paiva" realizaram, no dia 29/09/2013, em São Paulo, no Memorial da Resistência, a audiência pública Ditadura e Homossexualidade. A programação foi realizada em parceria com o Museu da Diversidade Sexual como uma edição especial do "Sábado Resistente". Na ocasião, diversos pesquisadores apresentaram estudos sobre violações de direitos humanos da população LGBT antes, durante e após a ditadura militar. Durante a audiência, o membro da CNV, Paulo Sérgio Pinheiro, pediu a aprovação do PLC 122/2006, que criminaliza a homofobia.
