Different types of biclusters

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Different types of biclusters. The values in constant or upregulated biclusters have all their values exact (upregulated means that the values are positive). Constant rows/columns biclusters have the same value in all columns/rows of the bicluster, but the value between each column/row may differ. In shift biclusters the contribution of rows and columns are added, whilst in scale biclusters they are multiplied. In shift-scale biclusters rows contribute twice: first the value is multiplied by a given column and second another value is added. Plaid biclusters model the whole data as a sum of multiple layers. All the patterns are considered order-preserving.
