Description
Русский: Данное изображение представляет собой снимок со сканирующего электронного микроскопа поверхности алмаза, на котором микрочастица железа «нарисовала» рисунок. При нагреве микрокристалла алмаза с нанесенными на его поверхность частицами железа в атмосфере водорода наблюдается каталитическое взаимодействие металла с алмазом. При этом частицы начинают двигаться по поверхности микрокристалла алмаза оставляя после себя следы – треки. Все это может приводить к появлению на гранях алмаза необычных "рисунков".
