English: Time-lapse movies taken at various stages in the development of an E7.75 embryo, developing from the cardiac crescent to linear heart tube stages. The time above each image is measured from the start of culture. Such a series of time-lapse movies allows one to clearly visualize the development of contractile activity in the forming heart. The scale bar represents 100 microns and applies to all the sequences. The time is shown to the right in milliseconds and applies for all the sequence. Also see Figure 2. |
