English: Visualization of clasping structures in z-stack movies. Videos depict successive focal z-scans in TPLSM stacks. Each of the videos shows dendritic structures of a patched cell “clasping” around a targeted cell body. The red PMT image shows the dendritic structure, the trans-IR image (light-blue with dark contrast) shows the juxtaglomerular neuropil including cell bodies. S2 shows a very complex clasping phenotype around a single cell body (in the center of the video). In this cell, the nucleus can be easily spotted. S3 shows a less strongly clasped soma in the center of the video. The cell outline is well defined in this example. |
