| Description | To keep the removal of the old superstructure on schedule, some preliminary surface work started on Friday evenings after the 8 p.m. roadway closures on Oregon 38 as part of an FHWA, Highways for LIFE project with ODOT using alternate project delivery and innovative ABC to rapidly remove and replace five bridges. Work on the surface included sawing and removal of the old asphalt overlay and demolition and removal of the bridge railings and approach slabs. |
