Description
Polski: Wykład dr Basi Śliwińskiej: “Dekolonialne praktyki artystyczne”

Wykład skupia się na podstawowych pojęciach związanych ze światem podzielonym w ramach dyskursu kolonialnego, takich jak orientalizm, przemoc, umacnianie różnicy czy stereotypia oraz na ich konsekwencjach. Angażując przykłady praktyk artystycznych manifestujących formy wizualnego oporu, podejmiemy dialog z wybranymi teoriami postkolonialnymi i próbami odzyskania szeroko pojętej przestrzeni, dosłownej i metaforycznej. Przyjrzymy się pojęciu dekolonizacji – jednej z ważniejszych obecnie praktyk badawczych – oraz ucieleśnionych doświadczeń i zastanowimy się, co oznacza bycie pełnoprawnym człowiekiem oraz jak jest to aktywizowane w intersekcjonalnym języku sztuk wizualnych.
