Nederlands: Medewerkers van politieke partijen gooien 's avonds reclamefolders in brievenbussen. De volgende dag gaan mensen stemmen, oa prof. Jelle Zijlstra, lijstaanvoerder van de ARP, schaker dr. Max Euwe en Gerben Wagenaar van de CPN in Amsterdam, dr. Willem Drees en A.D.W. Tilanus van de CHU in Den Haag, ds. Zandt van de SGP in Delft, prof. Pieter Oud aanvoerder van de VVD in Rotterdam, cabaretier Toon Hermans in Zandvoort, prof. C.P.M. Romme van de KVP in Bloemendaal en wielrenner Wout Wagtmans in St. Willebrord. Na zeven uur 's avonds wordt een stembureau in Haarlem gesloten en worden de stemmen geteld. Op De Dam in Amsterdam wachten mensen op de uitslag op een groot scherm. Uiteindelijk wordt de uitslag, winst voor de PvdA en de KVP, op de borden bekend gemaakt.
English: Employees of political parties putting advertising leaflets into mailboxes. The next day, people vote, including Prof. Jelle Zijlstra, list of ARP leader, Dr. Max Euwe, chess and Gerben Wagenaar of the CPN in Amsterdam, Dr Willem Drees and ADW Tilanus of the University Hospital in The Hague, Rev. Zandt of the Stability and Growth Pact in Delft, Prof. Pieter Former leader of the VVD in Rotterdam, comedian Toon Hermans in Zandvoort, Prof. CPM Romme of the CSF in Bloemendaal and cyclist Wout Wagtmans in St. Willibrord. After 7pm, a polling station in Haarlem is closed and the votes counted. On Dam Square in Amsterdam, people are waiting for the results which will be displayed on a large screen. Eventually the result, a gain for the PvdA and the KVP, displayed on the screens. |
