“Geneva July 9 1829
R.P. Hunt Esqr
D. Sir
you will oblige me by letting me know the amount of your Lien on the Farm of Wm Pearson including interest & cost to date – and the time when the credit expires – My Father in Law W. Poole Pearson has assumed this debt and I suppose it will be my business to pay it – which will be done as soon as I have funds of his in my hands sufficient to pay it – If you make an assignement of the Judgement to Poole Pearson – I have no objections to settle it immediately [inserted] by giving my note payable about the time when the credit on the Judgment expires at Geneva Bank – as I am anxious to Settle up all damages against the old Gentleman You will oblige me by giving me an answer to this and inform me when it is posible you will be in Geneva
