Description 070418-N-9604C-001 PACIFIC OCEAN (April 18, 2007) - Dale Earnhardt Jr. holds a plaque presented to him and Shane Huffman by Command Master Chief (CMDCM) William J. Steel during their visit aboard amphibious transport dock USS Cleveland (LPD 7). The NASCAR drivers visited Cleveland for a one-day embark to experience Navy life aboard the oldest amphibious ship in the fleet. In celebration of the ship’s 40th birthday the drivers toured the ship, had lunch with Sailors, signed autographs, and presented the ship’s Sailor of the Year award to Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Norman Delacruz.
