Curator Stephen takes a look at Leonardo’s remarkable scientific and artistic work to show how he drew comparisons between different types of natural phenomena. In Leonardo da Vinci: A Mind in Motion (exhibition open 7 June – 8 September 2019), you’ll be able to see more of Leonardo’s observations of nature in motion, which directly informed his ability to portray human movement in the artistic masterpieces for which he is known today.
