Arietis es la estrella más brillante, seguida por Sheratan, Mesarthim y Botein. El nombre de esta constelación procede del sánscrito, idioma de la India y uno de los más antiguos del mundo. Arietis también es conocida como Hammal, que significa “cabeza de carnero” en árabe.

Arietis is the brightest star, followed by Sheratan, Mesarthim and Botein. The name of this constellation comes from Sanskrit, the language of India and one of the oldest in the world.
