English: The distribution of Rac1 activity in a representative MEF under PDGF stimulation. The fluorescence images representing the subcellular distribution of Rac1 activity were overlaid on the DIC images of the MEF cells. The cell expressing PAK-PBD-YFP was highlighted among other cells without fluorescence. Before and after the PDGF stimulation, the free end of the cell appeared dynamic with strong PAK-PBD-YFP fluorescence representing high Rac1 activity at the leading edge of the free end. |
