Português: Câncer, diabetes, doenças pulmonares e cardiovasculares matam 41 milhões de pessoas por ano — o equivalente a 71% de todas as mortes no mundo. Dos indivíduos mortos por causa dessas patologias, 15 milhões têm entre 30 e 70 anos.
Segundo comissão independente da Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS), autoridades também devem reorientar os sistemas de atendimento, a fim de incluir os serviços de prevenção e controle dessas patologias e de saúde mental em suas políticas de cobertura universal.
