English: Map shows Missouri with county borders and also parts of Nebraska and Indian Territory, colored by counties; shows towns, roads, railroads, rivers, post offices, and many other details. Table shows population numbers of freedmen and slaves by county for the 1840 and 1850 censuses. "Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1851 by J. H. Colton, in the Clerks Office of the District Court for the South District of N.York." Includes text and table. Available also through the Library of Congress Web site as a raster image. LC copy signed in on verso: Millard Fillmore March 1853. |
