| Description |
English: Cold Norton milestone in its setting Situated beside the B5026 between Eccleshall and Stone, this milestone lies more or less outside the entrance to the Izaak Walton Golf Club. This is named in honour of 'The Compleat Angler' who was born nearby in 1593, lived to the ripe old age of 90, and first published his authoritative book on angling in 1653. |
