| Description |
English: Coastal slump at Black Rock Ledge The former cliff face here has slumped leaving a shallow depression and a gentle slope towards the coast. This is now an easy unofficial access point to the beach. The feature can be seen clearly on the 1:50K map. The beach itself, a mixture of sand and shingle, is only exposed at low tide. Beyond, the rock of Black Rock Ledge can be seen, followed by a narrow strip of water then the spit of Long Ledge in the next square. |
