English: Clayton tumulus/dewpond Tumulus it says on the OS map but this has all the hallmarks of a constructed dewpond. Sometimes in water but the two rollers have been there for many years.
The village of Pyecombe can be seen through the three Hawthorns to the right, wooded Newtimber hill is just above the farmost right Hawthorn and the aerials of Devil's Dyke can be seen centre horizon. |
