Português: A iminente recessão global resultante da pandemia da COVID-19 poderia causar mais centenas de milhares de mortes de crianças neste ano, efetivamente revertendo ganhos recentes de diminuição da mortalidade infantil. A conclusão está num novo relatório da ONU divulgado nesta quinta-feira (16).
Em um comunicado com os principais resultados do documento, o secretário-geral da ONU, António Guterres, pediu ação urgente para apoiar as crianças de todo o mundo no meio desta crise universal. “Felizmente, as crianças têm sido amplamente poupadas até aqui dos sintomas mais severos da doença.
