Description
English: Nautical chart with extensive annotations in col. and lead pencils to show proposed railroad routes connecting central Washington and Alexandria (Va.). Relief shown by hachures. Depths shown by contours and soundings. Oriented with north toward the lower right. Originally printed on 2 sheets. Includes note. LC copy soiled, stained, missing edge sections, and mounted on cloth backing. Available also through the Library of Congress Web site as a raster image. Phillips. Washington, 79 DCP Vault
