Description
English: Chapel of St Anne's Hospital Adjacent to St Anne's Almshouses and dating from about 1430. The red brick house on the opposite side of High St Agnesgate is The Old Hall built in 1738 which served as a Canon's Residence in the 1840's and 50's. Lewis Carroll stayed in the house for some weeks of each year between 1852 and 1858.
