Description
English:

Preserved biological specimen on paper.

Preserved Specimen On A3 Paper With A Printed Label Identifying It In The Bottom Right Corner. The Paper Is Mounted On A Larger Cardboard And Covered With Plastic Which Is Sealed To The Board. There Are Three Samples. The First Two Are Long Straight Stems With Leaves Extending At Alternating Points. The Top Of The Stem Has Small Flower Blossoms. The Third Sample Is A Short Stem Section With Light Leaves Attached At Alternating Points And What Appear To Be Berries And Seed Structures Attached At The End Of The Stem. This Sample Was Found By Elsie May Kittredge. There Are Many Colored Drawings. One Details The White Flower, While Another Shows The Different Kinds And Stages Of Flowers. These Drawings Are Labeled 'Fruiting Flowers' And 'Sterile Flower'. There Is A Drawing Of The Plant With Flowers As Well As The Plant With Berries. There Five Detail Drawings Of The Seed Structures And Berries. They Were Drawn On 9-10-30 And Two Are Labeled In Pencil 'Unusual 4-Parted'.
