DescriptionCattle drinking at Pottern Ford, New Forest - geograph.org.uk - 182753.jpg |
English: Cattle drinking at Pottern Ford, New Forest. These cattle were in the process of crossing the Beaulieu River to get to the heathland (Yew Tree Heath) to the south. Doing what cattle do, they also urinated in the river shortly after this picture was taken. There were a large number of ponies nearby grazing on the new riverside grass - a few can be seen in the background. |
