Description
English: Photographer's caption: "Calle 59 in front of the Cathedral on Plaza Principal. Three modes of transportation are seen in this photograph. Model T Ford taxicabs, horse drawn caliches or cabs, and motor powered street cars. Merida, January 21, 1924."

Notes: Street visible is actually Calle 60. Taken from vantage point at intersection with Calle 59, looking South. Plaza Grande (Plaza de la Independencia) is at right. In addition to the mentioned vehicles, there is also an autobus seen.
