English: Biologists collect eggs from a source population of California red-legged frogs (Rana draytonii) in the Simi Hills, and translocate them to locations on California State Park lands in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, in the hopes of establishing new populations of reproducing adult California red-legged frogs, which are federally threatened under the Endangered Species Act.
