Português: Fausto Andrade do povo Sateré-Mawé, cacique da Aldeia Beija-Flor, em Rio Preto da Eva (AM) conta um pouco da história da comunidade, onde vivem famílias pertencentes a dez povos diferentes - Sateré-Mawé, Yanomami, Tukano, Tuyuka, Dessana, Apurinã, Kokama, Waiwai, Hixkaryana e Borari. Cada um adota sua língua, suas tradições e seus modos de vida específicos. O convívio com estudantes não-indígenas e a falta de vivência dentro do território, ainda que limitado ao horário das aulas, pode enfraquecer a identidade cultural das crianças indígenas. Alguns já perderam sua língua e a história de seus antepassados. O risco é que essa próxima geração se distancie de suas próprias raízes.
