Summary

Description
English: View of the Christopher Street Day in Bayreuth 2023. At the beginning, the participants met at La-Spezia-Platz, where it should start at 2 pm. There were many colorful flags at place. The float (tractor with trailer) was also already there. He drove with the procession through the streets and brought the music. The police secured the demonstration procession, some people took care of the order at the float. The weather was very hot with measured 35-36°C (95-97°F) (maximum temperature), many provided for their cooling by umbrellas, water or ventilation. The procession lasted about 105 minutes and went from La-Spezia-Platz around the city park past the Rotmain Center and back to the Ehrenhof. There were information booths of the police, Queer Bayreuth and more. At the stage there was loud music for dancing. Some danced, but some sought out the shade or the fountains. Then from 8 pm there was still dance/disco for those interested if you are at least 18 years old. The number of participants is estimated at 1600, which was a lot considering the heat (about the same as 2022). There were also water stations running along during the procession. In addition to the stewards, there was also an awareness team that could be visited after assaults. Along the paths there was an interested audience. At the beginning, there were also several photographers, but at the Ehrenhof at the end of the march, you saw almost no one. This file is unedited to be able to trace how other files have been modified from this one, and for archival purposes. Here you can see the sight at La Spezia Square.
