Deutsch: Mensch-Maschine-Interaktion im All - erstmals Technologie-Experiment mit Künstlicher Intelligenz auf der ISS.
CIMON kann sehen, hören, verstehen, sprechen - und fliegen. Er ist rund, hat einen Durchmesser von 32 Zentimetern und wiegt fünf Kilogramm. CIMON soll ab Sommer 2018 der neue Mitbewohner der Internationalen Raumstation ISS werden, um als Technologie-Experiment die Zusammenarbeit von Menschen und intelligenten Maschinen an Bord der ISS zu demonstrieren. Entwicklung und Bau des interaktiven Astronauten-Assistenten wurden vom Raumfahrtmanagement des Deutschen Zentrums für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) mit Mitteln des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) in Auftrag gegeben und von Airbus in Friedrichshafen und Bremen umgesetzt. |
