Gsell sc., 1827: Erster Druck mit unkorrekter Kantonsgrenze (Vorabdruck mit handschriftlichen Einträgen); Nach 1827: Zweiter Druck mit korrekter Kantonsgrenze; Grenzkolorit; Im appenzellischen Monatsblatt von 1827, Seite 114, ist unter der Rubrik "Anzeige Appenzellischer Schriften" mit dem Titel "Charte vom Kanton Appenzell, aufgenommen von J. Z(uber)" folgendes zu lesen: "Dieses lithographierte Kärtchen war ursprünglich dazu bestimmt, dem immer noch rückständigen zweiten Bande des bei Keller in Ebnat erscheinenden Nachdrucks der Walserschen Appenzellerchronik beigefügt zu werden. Gewisse Umstände verhinderten dieses, und daher wird es besonders verkauft. Es enthält vorzüglich eine deutliche Darstellung der Alpen und Felsen des appenzellischen Hochgebirges mit ihren mannigfachen Abstufungen, der vorzüglichen Flüsse und Bäche, der Dörfer in ihren verhältnismässigen Distanzen, der Strassen und der gangbarsten Fusswege und deren Verbindungen mit dem Kanton St. Gallen. Als ein sehr brauchbares Reisekärtchen darf es vorzüglich allen Reisenden im Kanton Appenzell bestens empfohlen werden".; Koloriertes Exemplar: Kantonsgrenze AR gelb, Kantonsgrenze AI rosa, Gewässer blau
