[edit]DescriptionCDC- Tips From Former Smokers — Terrie- Little Things I Miss.webm |
English: Terrie got shocking news when she was just 40. She had cancer from the cigarettes she'd started smoking in high school. Rather than retreat, Terrie shared her health struggles with the world to inspire smokers to quit. In this video from CDC's Tips From Former Smokers campaign, Terrie talks about all the little things she missed because of mouth and throat surgeries—like cooing to a baby. Terrie died of cancer from smoking at age 53.
