[edit]DescriptionCódice Azoyú 1, 31-30 (siglo XVI).png |
English: Folios 30 and 31 (right to left) of Codex Azoyú 1, an early colonal Mexican manuscript written in the mid 16th century which addresses the history of the region of Tlapa, in modern-day Guerrero.
These two folios address the military campaigns in 5 settlements in the area of Tlapa launched by emperor Moctezuma II of Mexico, which began in 1503 and ended in 1516. Folio 30 shows the campaign against Tototepec and Xipetepec, which occurred in between 1503 and 1509, though they appear to have been relatively peaceful judging by the illustration of the sitting warrior instead of a warrior in a combat position. Folio 31 shows the campaign against Atlitepec, Acocozpan and Tetenanco in 1515.Español: Folios 30 y 31 (derecha a izquierda) del Códice Azoyú 1, un manuscrito mexicano de principios de la época colonial del siglo XVI que habla sobre la historia de la región de Tlapa, en el actual Estado de Guerrero.
