Description
English: Bus Shelter and signs of the times. In front of the Church Hall which at the time of photographing was being rebuilt in a big way. There are two plaques within this shelter. The older one reads "Erected by Sir George Cooper (Bart) and the people of Hursley to commemorate the coronation of our Queen Elizabeth II 1954". The more recent one reads "This bus shelter, built by Alan Rodbourne, was renovated in April 2003 to mark the 50th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II".
