Summary
[edit]DescriptionBroomy Linn - geograph.org.uk - 1061343.jpg |
English: Broomy Linn I wasn't aware of Broomy Linn until Joe Rice contacted me through the Geograph Web site asking if I had any photos of Broomy Linn web site. I hadn't mainly because he don't walk very often in Kieler Forest since coniferous forests aren't the most interesting places to walk. With the present muddy (clarty) conditions we have tended to walk on tracks and minor country roads. My walking companions were intrigued by Broomy Linn and so we decided to go in search of it.
Joe and I sent each other several e-mails (Oct./Nov. 2008) and we both mentioned areas we had walked and waterfalls we'd seen or not as the case maybe. From what he said I had a feeling we had met briefly about a year ago in the Irthing Valley - it turned out we had - what a small world! |
