Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Boston Police line up near the "Straight Pride" event in Boston on August 30, 2019. The group in front of them includes people who have come to protest the event, and others. Some protestors shout at the police, but all keep their distance and none appear threatening. Journalist Rod Webber can be heard asking if they plan to issue an order to disperse. It is not clear what triggers the police to charge, but it does not appear to be in response to any threat. They seem to target specific people including Webber, who is tackled and has his leg injured. Since no order to disperse was issued, none of these people were doing anything illegal.
