Description
Deutsch: Neoromanische Kirche in Bornheim an der Königstraße (Ecke Aeltersgasse), nach Entwürfen des Bonner Kommunal- und Stadtbaumeisters Paul Richard Thomann (1827 – 1873) errichtet (Baubeginn 1863, Einweihung 1866); auffällig ist die italienisch anmutende gelbe Bänderung. Thomann plante auch den Bau der 1938 von Nazis zerstörten Synagoge (Königstraße 55, nahe Heinestraße), der katholischen Servatiuskirche (Baubeginn 1864, Einweihung 1866) und des Breniger Stationenwegs.
