Description
Deutsch: Ruine des Portikus des ehemaligen Anhalter Bahnhofs am Askanischen Platz 6-7 in Berlin-Kreuzberg. Der Bahnhof wurde 1876-80 nach einem Entwurf von Franz Schwechten erbaut und im Zweiten Weltkrieg bis auf das abgebildete Teilstück zerstört. Das Fragment ist als Baudenkmal gelistet.
English: Ruins of the porticus of the former Anhalter Bahnhof railway station at Askanischer Platz 6-7 in Berlin-Kreuzberg. The station was built from 1876 zo 1880 to a design by Franz Schwechten and was, apart from the fragment in this picture, destroyed in WWII. The fragment has been designated as a cultural heritage monument.
