Deutsch: Der Anhalter Bahnhof ist ein ehemaliger Fernbahnhof in Berlin. Er liegt am Askanischen Platz, an der Stresemannstraße in Kreuzberg in der Nähe des Potsdamer Platzes. Er wurde als Kopfbahnhof direkt vor den Toren der Berliner Zollmauer angelegt. Heute erinnern nur noch die Portalruine und der unterirdische S-Bahnhof an den einst weithin berühmten Bahnhof. Im Volksmund wurde er kurz „Anhalter“ oder „Das Tor zum Süden“ genannt. Der Name des Bahnhofs bezieht sich auf die Region Anhalt, heute Teil des Bundeslandes Sachsen-Anhalt. Vor dem Ersten Weltkrieg war der Anhalter Bahnhof der wichtigste Fernbahnhof für die Eisenbahnverbindungen nach Österreich-Ungarn, Italien und Frankreich.

English: The Anhalter Bahnhof is a former railway terminus in Berlin, Germany, approximately 600 metres (0.5 mi) southeast of Potsdamer Platz. Although the station was closed in 1952, the name lives on in the Berlin S-Bahn station of the same name.

Français : la gare Anhalter est une ancienne gare de chemin de fer de Berlin. Cette gare en cul-de-sac était située approximativement à 200 mètres au sud-est de la Potsdamer Platz. Après avoir été détruite pendant la Seconde guerre mondiale, la gare a été officiellement fermée en 1952, mais une station du S-Bahn berlinois conserve ce nom.
