Summary
[edit]DescriptionBench, Knockaphuca - geograph.org.uk - 268134.jpg |
English: Bench, Knockaphuca A bench is one of the small but awkward parallel crags that are on most hill land on the Cork peninsulas. Created by softer rocks being worn off in a landscape of vertically bedded rocks. On a far bigger scale, this erosion has removed the softer rocks where the long inlets are now, like Kenmare River and Dunmanus Bay. |
