Title
Bell
Description
English: Roman copper-alloy bell measuring 33.24mm long, 28.84mm wide, 3.30mm thick and weighs 15.9g. The cone shaped bell is cast with an suspension loop and two simply solid lines for decoration, one approx. 2mm from the loop at the apex of the cone, and the other approx. 3mm from the opening of the bell at the base of the cone. The inside of the bell is hollow, with the very degraded remains of the bell knocker, with heavy rust stains which suggest that it may have had a higher iron content than the rest of the bell.

The bell is in fair shape, with pit marks and corrosion on the outside, as well as missing pieces from the opening of the bell. The inside of the bell is much more corroded.
