Description
Français : L'image d'Esterhazy dans la presse européenne : caricature autrichienne, parue dans Der Floh, janvier 1898.
Sous le titre "Bal masqué européen", la France danse devant Esterhazy, représenté sous les traits du "major" de la "Vie parisienne" d'Offenbach. Légende, selon John Grand-Carteret, L'affaire Dreyfus et l'image: 266 caricatures françaises et étrangères, Paris, Flammarion, 1898, 352 p., p. 47 : Le choix des dames de Paris. La République est folle de ce coquin de major et elle ne veut pas lui laisser un instant de repos.
