Description
English: === Videos were filmed in April 2019!!! ===

Hagenow Land in the German federal state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is a railway station where the lines from Hamburg to Berlin and to Schwerin and Rostock separate. Both lines lead apart like a V. The station building lies between them, so the station layout is shaped like a wedge. In this video you can see scenes from the train traffic today, in 2019. From time to time I have added photos as an overlay, taken back in 1994. In 1994 Deutsche Reichsbahn and Deutsche Bundesbahn had merged into Deutsche Bahn. I wanted to catch as much Reichsbahn atmosphere as possible from what had still survived in 1994. In April of 2019 I came back and filmed at some of these locations. The station looks very much different nowadays as tracks have been straightened and enabled for maximum speed of 230 km/h.
