Description
English: This recording is from the Melodica Drone & Bach Quartet's (https://mdbq.org) debut concert on November 20, 2022, at the art studio Persona in Brooklyn.

Apologies for the poor video and audio quality! In coming months I will be sharing high-quality studio recordings of all six cello suites on melodica, and lots of beautiful melodica quartet performances, so be sure to subscribe for more!

In this recording I'm playing a Hammond Pro-44HPv2 melodica, which extends to the low viola C needed to play the cello suites without transposition. I'm circle breathing almost continuously here - which is surprisingly easy on melodica!

The beautiful sculpture in the background was made by Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya in collaboration with Chromic Duo.
