Description
English: The Torah (Pentateuch) wth Tiberian vocalization and masoretic notes. The main part of this codex is one of the oldest examples of the Tiberian mesorah (written circa 920). It has been utilized by scholars as one of the most important manuscripts for the reconstruction of the text of the Torah in the Aleppo Codex. Other parts (most of Genesis from the start and most of Deuteronomy until the end) were added by a Yemenite Jewish scribe in a later century, in order to complete a full copy of the Torah. This codex is referred to in scholarly literature as B or ב (Yeivin, Breuer) or as א (Ginsburg).
