| Description |
English: Awaiting the axe: Linton Mill chimney, Wharfedale Linton Mill itself had just been demolished, and it was published in the 'Craven Herald' that the chimney would be felled on Saturday 5 May. In the event there was a delay because some of the charges had been wrongly placed and it was decided to defer the operation until the Monday following, so the small crowd of spectators who had gathered on the 'Tin Bridge' were disappointed. |
