English: Aughrus Point Looking out at the rock reef which extends this second-most westerly position of the mainland. Only the Dingle Peninsula reaches further into the Atlantic, although the nearby promontory of Baile an Leime L5442 almost reaches as far. The islands in the distance are the group which includes Friar Island and High Island with many smaller islets. |
